Lettings Negotiator – Residential Lettings (Upminster)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Lettings Negotiator to join a thriving residential lettings branch in Upminster. You will be the first point of contact for landlords and tenants, guiding them through every stage of the rental process and helping the agency grow its portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and prospective clients.
• Conduct rental valuations and advise on local market conditions.
• Arrange and carry out property viewings, converting enquiries into successful lets.
• Negotiate tenancy agreements and progress lettings through to completion.
• Support junior negotiators and contribute to overall team performance.
• Identify opportunities to increase market share and expand the lettings portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with current lettings legislation and company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Lettings Negotiator or a role with transferable skills.
• Proven track record of generating new business and meeting lettings targets.
• Strong knowledge of the Chelmsford and wider Essex lettings market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing abilities.
