About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN unit in Pendle. You will work within an EYFS setting, supporting young children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and helping them reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for children with SEND, adapting learning activities to individual needs.
- Promote social, emotional and communication development through tailored activities.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to plan and deliver support.
- Deliver personal care assistance when required and maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment.
Required profile
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with children with SEND, preferably in an EYFS setting.
- Patient, caring and adaptable attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
