Litigation Executive

About the role

Cordus Law is a specialist practice supporting veterans and active‑duty service members in obtaining compensation for service‑related injuries. We are looking for a Litigation Executive to manage military and industrial disease claims and to contribute to the growth of our team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of military claims, liaising with clients, insurers, solicitors, counsel and experts.
• Analyse evidence, develop case strategies that balance technical and commercial considerations, and advise clients.
• Prepare witness statements and review supporting documentation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Provide supervision and support to junior fee earners and administrative staff as required.
• Maintain high professional standards and ensure compliance with SRA regulations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with developments in relevant law and practice.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education, preferably in Law, with a 2:1 or above (all applications considered).
• Minimum two years’ experience in personal injury litigation, with exposure to military or industrial disease claims being desirable.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and client‑care abilities.
• Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when needed.

Required skills

• Proclaim case‑management software (or similar).
