Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

Ivyline Ltd, a family‑run UK wholesaler of home and garden products, is seeking a proactive Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to join its operations team. The role sits at the centre of the supply chain, overseeing inbound stock flow into a third‑party logistics (3PL) warehouse and managing outbound export freight while ensuring compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound stock from suppliers to the 3PL warehouse, handling advance shipment notices (ASNs), delivery bookings and discrepancy resolution.
• Act as primary liaison with the 3PL provider, monitoring schedules, flagging delays and maintaining service level agreements.
• Manage end‑to‑end outbound export shipments, including freight booking, documentation preparation and communication with freight forwarders.
• Classify goods using correct HS/tariff codes and stay up‑to‑date with UK and destination market export regulations.
• Place repeat purchase orders, track open orders, and maintain strong relationships with the supplier base.
• Support the wider purchasing team with administrative tasks and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, freight or supply chain coordination, preferably with a 3PL environment.
• Solid understanding of HS/tariff codes and UK customs/export compliance (non‑negotiable).
• Demonstrated ability to manage international freight documentation and export processes.
• Experience placing purchase orders and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
