Machine Operative – Manufacturing Production Line

About the role

Morrisons is hiring a Manufacturing Key Operative - Machine in Northwich to work within the production team and keep the production lines running so quality products are made for customers in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment. The role is fast-paced, high-volume and demanding, and is permanent with 38.5 hours per week, 2-2-3 shifts from 6am to 6pm.

Key responsibilities

• Run the production line and carry out system set-ups and calibrations so orders are met and compliant.
• Aim to maximise overall equipment effectiveness to reduce waste, downtime and giveaway.

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience in a production environment with machinery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment and works well as part of a team.
• Physically active and able to stay concentrated through repetitive tasks.
• Open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures.
• Must have reached school leaving age.
