Machine Technician – Blow Moulding

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Blow Moulding Technician to join the Blow Moulding Department at our Severnside site. The role focuses on operating and maintaining blow moulding equipment to meet production targets while upholding health, safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate blow moulding machines efficiently on a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 7‑7).
• Perform fault finding using I/O listings on machine screens and execute correct adjustment procedures.
• Carry out pre‑ and post‑maintenance operational checks and record machine conditions.
• Support the engineering team during breakdowns and routine maintenance.
• Assist colleagues in resolving bottlenecks and adapt priorities to customer requirements.

• Consistently meet output targets set by the shift manager.
• Operate all equipment safely while achieving required quality standards.
• Maintain a customer‑focused attitude toward internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate flexibility to changing priorities driven by demand.
