Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical Focus (Days Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a mechanically‑biased Maintenance Engineer for a permanent, days‑based position at our main site in Oldham. You will join a well‑established, industry‑leading manufacturing company that values employee development through extensive training and progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Fault‑finding on mechanical and electrical manufacturing machinery.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance, including preventive servicing.
• Carry out repairs and servicing of a wide variety of equipment.
• Work Monday‑Friday on‑site, supporting the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Mechanically‑biased Maintenance Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Able to commute to Oldham.
• Multi‑skilled in both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
