Maintenance Engineering Specialist – Global Manufacturing Excellence

About the role

The Maintenance Engineering Specialist will join the Maintenance Solution Department (MSD) within Global Manufacturing Excellence at Aramco. Based in Saudi Arabia on a permanent residential basis, the role supports global manufacturing facilities by designing, launching and evaluating maintenance programs, processes and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance processes, management strategies, and health assessments aligned with GME and corporate standards, including PM and PdM strategies, organization structures, manpower and cost analyses.
• Conduct data‑driven analyses to benchmark maintenance performance, covering spending, effectiveness, wrench time, SAP taxonomy, planning & scheduling, personnel competency, budgeting and RAM modeling.
• Establish reference baselines for facility maintenance performance and produce regular benchmarking reports.
• Review and improve maintenance reporting mechanisms and KPIs, providing recommendations to drive performance.
• Analyze maintenance spending across manpower, equipment, materials procurement and outsourcing.
• Support line maintenance organizations in implementing and sustaining the defined processes.
