Maintenance Planning Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Planning Engineer will manage maintenance and material planning for aircraft, ensuring work packs are prepared, reviewed and completed on schedule. You will work closely with the Maintenance Team, Airworthiness Department and Customer Support Managers to keep aircraft downtime to a minimum.

Key responsibilities

• Follow company procedures to guarantee compliance with maintenance programmes.
• Liaise with the Maintenance Team and other departments to align on capability and capacity.
• Enter technical utilisation data onto the Maintenance Information System (MIS) and keep the system up‑to‑date.
• Review aircraft maintenance status, prepare variations and identify provisional maintenance dates.
• Check material requirements, raise reservations or purchase requisitions, and confirm material availability.
• Coordinate with Customer Support Managers to confirm maintenance dates with owners/operators.
• Work with the Airworthiness Department on ADs, SBs, EOs and other regulatory requirements.
• Issue short‑term maintenance forecasts, reset tasks on the MIS and provide cross‑functional support to the CAMO team.
• Continuously improve planning processes and perform additional duties as directed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance and material planning (Part CAMO / A8‑25, Part 145 / A8‑23).
• Methodical with acute attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proactive mindset, recognising potential issues early.
• High computer literacy, especially with Google Suite applications.
