Maintenance Plumber / Mechanical Engineer – Days Role

About the role
This is a days‑only, full‑time position based at a university campus in Plymouth. You will join a well‑established facilities team, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance while developing your engineering skills.
Key responsibilities
- Perform scheduled (planned) maintenance tasks across the site.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly.
- Maintain plant and pipework to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Document work performed and update maintenance records.
- Collaborate with other engineering and facilities staff to improve reliability.
Required profile
- Qualified plumber or mechanical engineer.
- Experience in facilities or plant maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work Monday‑to‑Friday, days only.
