Maintenance Technician – Hotel

About the role

Join the Ibis London Stratford team as a Maintenance Technician, ensuring the hotel’s facilities and equipment operate safely and efficiently for guests and staff. You will play a vital part in delivering responsible hospitality by maintaining a pleasant and secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine safety inspections across the property.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and general building works.
• Address daily defects promptly and coordinate with external contractors.
• Maintain accurate paperwork such as health & safety records, fire safety documents, preventive maintenance schedules, and risk assessments.
• Participate in hotel projects aimed at improving FF&E, quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in building or hotel maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and able to respond to emergency situations.
• Good interpersonal skills for working with colleagues, guests, and contractors.
