Maintenance Technician / Mechanic – Workshop Based (Southampton)

About the role
Enterprise Mobility is looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to join its Flex‑E‑Rent workshop in Southampton. You will work on a diverse fleet of commercial rental vehicles, ensuring they are safe, reliable and ready for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing on rental vehicles.
- Test and verify that all systems and components are secure and operational.
- Identify, repair or replace worn parts before breakdowns occur.
- Conduct test drives where permitted and record all work accurately in the workshop system.
- Complete jobs within the shift and hand over vehicles safely with appropriate signage.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance.
- Experience working with HGVs or LCVs.
- Full UK / Irish / EU Class C or CE driving licence.
Required skills
- Vehicle maintenance and servicing techniques.
- Diagnostic testing of vehicle systems.
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals.
