Management Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team at the Filton Head Office. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for delivering accurate management accounts for both UK and US operations, supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely management accounts, owning P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reporting for allocated cost centres.
• Partner with budget owners to identify efficiencies, provide recommendations and challenge decisions where appropriate.
• Support the Commercial Finance team with budget management, performance tracking and metric reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and group policies during month‑end close, including cost allocation, pre‑payments and reconciliations.
• Manage cash‑flow processes, forecasting and monitoring of accounts receivable/payable.
• Collaborate with the Credit Controlling team to mitigate P&L risks.
• Maintain internal process documentation and support audit activities, responding to auditor queries.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to influence business decisions and drive process automation.

Required profile

• Qualified Management Accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent finance qualification.
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail.
• Experience preparing management accounts and working with cost centres.
• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across finance and wider business functions.
