Management Accountant

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity within the care industry for a fully qualified accountant to join a high‑performing finance team in Leeds. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will gain deep insight into production processes, cost drivers and overall financial performance while supporting operational decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Contribute to budgets and forecasts
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
• Manage accruals and pre‑payments
• Review financial results and support month‑end / year‑end close
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Assist with external and internal audits
• Undertake ad‑hoc analysis, cost optimisation and process‑improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
• Previous experience in a management accounting role
• Strong analytical capabilities and proactive mindset
• Eligibility to work in the UK full‑time without restriction
