Management Accountant – Social Housing

About the role

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our award‑winning finance team within a leading social housing organisation. You will work closely with the Strategic Finance Team to deliver accurate management information and support business planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct budget variance analysis.
• Profile budgets, reforecast and support the annual budgeting process.
• Manage treasury operations and assist with business planning and financial regulatory returns.
• Maintain the Group’s accounting records in line with statutory obligations.
• Provide high‑quality management information to internal departments and external customers.

Required profile

• Recognised professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in the social housing sector.
• Strong self‑motivation, excellent written and verbal communication.
• Leadership qualities with a focus on ownership, responsibility and accountability.
• Customer‑focused and objective‑oriented approach.
