Manufacturing Manager (Engineering/ Devices)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Manager to lead our Engineering/Devices manufacturing function. You will shape manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement and support new product introduction from concept to distribution within a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering function across the site.
• Develop and execute the Manufacturing Engineering strategy.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to align engineering and production goals.
• Support safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth objectives.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Act as the site technical authority for manufacturing processes and industrialisation.
• Lead aspects of NPI, CAPEX projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Manufacturing Engineering, NPI industrialisation and continuous improvement activities.
• Experience with device manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, CAPEX, ERP, DFM, maintenance scheduling and production planning.
• Ability to commute from Abingdon, Swindon, Didcot, Witney, Faringdon, Oxford or surrounding areas.
