Vehicle Technician – Specialist Vehicles & Technical Development

About the role

We are seeking a Vehicle Technician to work on a wide range of specialist vehicles, from standard fleet units to highly customised machines worth up to £500,000. The role starts with a month of intensive training in Didcot before moving to our new purpose‑built workshop in Aylesbury.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair specialist vehicles, including electric and highly customised models.
• Perform MOT testing and related inspections on a variety of vehicle types.
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment and modern workshop tools to resolve complex engineering issues.
• Complete EV qualification courses and ongoing specialist vehicle training.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure work meets the highest technical standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Engineer looking for a change from a standard dealer environment.
• Motivated to develop technical skills through continuous training and exposure to diverse vehicle systems.
• Willing to relocate to Aylesbury after the initial training period in Didcot.
