Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the role

This is a permanent position with a global engineering firm that supplies leading aerospace and defence organisations. You will be based in Plymouth and will have the chance to shape the future of the manufacturing operation by introducing new processes and driving efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Drive process improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Lead continuous improvement and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Provide technical problem solving and root‑cause analysis support to production.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
• Assist in the delivery of new equipment, automation and process upgrades.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to make tangible impact.
