Marketing Project Coordinator

About the role

The Healthcare Marketing Coordinator will bring Pharmacy and Optical commercial strategies to life through compliant, insight‑led customer communications. Working across in‑store, online, POS, social and media channels, you will ensure marketing activity supports sales, services and category growth for ASDA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Pharmacy and Optical marketing calendar.
• Deliver end‑to‑end campaigns such as flu, allergy, new launches, range changes and customer events.
• Collaborate with category, commercial, digital and media teams to maximise impact across all channels.
• Own POS execution plans across stores and formats in partnership with the POS Business Partner.
• Support paid media planning with internal and external agencies, tracking ROI.
• Lead creative brief‑writing and ensure messaging is insight‑led and customer‑focused.
• Work with Digital & Online Doctor teams to keep web content compliant and up‑to‑date.
• Develop and deliver a social media strategy to increase reach and relevance.
• Liaise with the PR team to drive awareness of Healthcare innovations and community impact.
• Build campaign toolkits for local activation and ensure visibility across internal trade forums.
• Track campaign performance, provide post‑campaign evaluation and manage the Healthcare marketing budget.
• Own the Healthcare activity plan, aligning trade, commercial and marketing inputs.
