Marketing & Social Media Manager for New Venue

About the role

This newly created position will shape the marketing strategy and guest experience for Guinness World Records London, a brand‑new visitor attraction at The O2. You will plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, manage the venue’s social media presence, support PR activities and monitor the guest journey to ensure expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and produce engaging guest‑focused content for organic and paid channels, coordinating freelancers and agencies as needed.
• Schedule and publish regular posts across GWR London social channels, aligning with the Head of Social and Marketing Director on tone, strategy and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with the UK Brand Communications team to organise visits for record‑holders and content creators, ensuring positive brand exposure.
• Develop pre‑opening, testing and launch content that drives awareness and early ticket sales.
• Maintain the promotional sales calendar, planning campaigns, offers and seasonal activity in line with commercial priorities.
• Analyse trading performance with business analysts and the Marketing Director to optimise future initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in attractions or entertainment marketing.
• Strong digital marketing background with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with ecommerce, PR and operations teams.
• Willingness to visit the venue at The O2 in North Greenwich at least weekly.
