Maths & English Tutor – Ealing (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified Maths & English Tutor to deliver one‑to‑one tuition for students in Ealing. The role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys tailoring lessons to individual needs, especially for learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English sessions that match each student’s learning style.
• Create personalised lesson plans and learning strategies to support progress.
• Adapt teaching methods for SEN pupils, including those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs.
• Monitor, assess and report on student achievement regularly.
• Build constructive relationships with students, parents/carers and relevant professionals.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching both Maths and English.
• Previous work with children or young people who have SEN.
• Strong understanding of differentiated learning approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Required skills

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or comparable teaching qualification.
