About the role

Supply Staff Limited is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for a long‑term, full‑time position at a secondary school in Hertfordshire. You will inspire pupils to develop strong problem‑solving and numeracy skills while delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons.

Key responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for secondary students.
Support student understanding of mathematical concepts and encourage analytical thinking.
Assess, monitor and report on student progress in maths.
Collaborate with fellow maths teachers and other staff to achieve school academic goals.
Contribute to exam preparation and overall school performance in mathematics.

Required profile

QTS or QTLS certification.
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Passion for teaching mathematics.
Strong communication and classroom‑management abilities.
Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
