Maths Teacher (Key Stages 3‑4) – Chiswick

About the role

We are looking for an inspiring Maths Teacher to join our specialist school in Chiswick. You will work with pupils who have Special Educational Needs, delivering high‑quality mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 and functional‑skills programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach functional‑skills maths qualifications and GCSE Foundation maths where appropriate.
• Adapt lessons to a wide range of abilities and learning profiles.
• Monitor student progress and create personalised learning plans.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and pastoral staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching mathematics in mainstream secondary schools.
• Experience working with pupils who have Special Educational Needs.
• Good knowledge of functional‑skills maths.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
