MFL Teacher – French & Spanish

About the role

Cox Green School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher to deliver French and Spanish to our pupils. The role offers the chance to work in a supportive, co‑educational academy that values kindness, respect and determination.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging French and Spanish lessons across key stages.
• Develop and adapt curriculum resources to meet the needs of all learners.
• Maintain high expectations for achievement and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to staff professional development and the Teach Maidenhead programme.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of children.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, committed and able to inspire pupils.
• Suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
• Commitment to the school’s values of kindness, respect and determination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in French.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Ability to plan and assess language curricula.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
