Mobile Application Developer – iOS & Android (Contract)

About the role

Our client, a leading consultancy, is seeking four mid‑senior mobile developers (two iOS and two Android) for an initial six‑month contract starting in July. The positions are hybrid, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end release lifecycle for iOS and Android applications.
• Monitor, diagnose and resolve app crashes and performance issues.
• Write and maintain unit and UI tests (XCTest, JUnit/Espresso).
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high‑quality features.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior level experience developing native mobile apps.
• Proven track record of shipping apps to the App Store or Google Play.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced consultancy environment.

Required skills

• iOS: Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, MVVM (Coordinator pattern), Core Data, Async/Await, CocoaPods.
• Android: Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Coroutines, Gradle.
