Mobile Application Development Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Application Development Lead to drive the design and delivery of a modern mobile platform that integrates with core systems and third‑party services. The role will shape technical direction, lead a team of engineers and ensure high‑quality, scalable solutions in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of mobile engineers delivering scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership across design and implementation, maintaining coding and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with product, design and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Define and shape mobile development strategy for iOS and Android, including cross‑platform frameworks such as Flutter.
• Design and maintain solution architectures aligned with organisational goals and technical strategy.
• Identify and adopt emerging technologies and best practices to improve performance and user experience.
• Ensure compliance with development standards, security policies and integration frameworks.
• Oversee system integration and delivery processes using automation and continuous integration.
• Promote best‑in‑class development tools, methodologies and delivery practices.
• Monitor team performance and software quality, driving continuous improvement.
• Communicate progress, risks and technical insights clearly to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Previous leadership or team‑management responsibility.
• Strong expertise in native or cross‑platform mobile development (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
• Deep understanding of mobile development tools, frameworks and platform considerations.
• Solid knowledge of software architecture, APIs (REST/GraphQL) and modern data technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and code quality practices.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and build high‑performing teams.
• Confident influencing technical decisions and promoting scalable, maintainable solutions.
