Mobile HGV Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Teesside

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mobile HGV Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our Flex‑E‑Rent team in Teesside. You will work on a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring they stay road‑ready and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of heavy‑goods vehicles.
• Work on top brands such as Mercedes, Iveco and Ford.
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards, including MOT preparation.
• Provide mobile support across Edinburgh and surrounding areas, with flexibility to work in the workshop when required.
• Collaborate with a friendly, skilled team to deliver high‑quality service.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Proven experience working with HGVs.
• Full Class 2 UK/Ireland/EU manual driving licence.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented approach and a genuine passion for vehicle maintenance.
