Mobile Software Engineer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

About the role

Join Cauli, a fast‑growing climate‑tech startup, as the lead mobile engineer. You will own the migration of native iOS and Android applications into a unified Kotlin Multiplatform codebase while delivering real‑world consumer and client‑facing features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using Kotlin, including a point‑of‑sale client app and consumer tools.
• Architect and execute the transition to a unified Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) codebase.
• Integrate lightweight web apps with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet for container tracking.
• Contribute to PHP/Laravel back‑end services and occasional Python work on Linux‑based smart‑bin hardware.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Tech and the broader engineering team.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of professional mobile engineering experience with production‑level Kotlin.
• Strong native Android development expertise.
• Interest or experience in Kotlin Multiplatform and ability to work across Android and iOS.
• Startup mindset, comfortable touching backend code and hardware integrations.
