About the role
The Module Lead for Clinical Practice in Context (CPIC) will oversee the delivery and continuous development of a core Year 2 module within the MSc Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice programme. The role ensures high academic standards while helping students build clinical knowledge, reflective practice, and an understanding of child and adolescent mental health in broader social and cultural contexts.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver weekly lectures and seminars, ensuring engaging and high‑quality teaching.
- Develop and maintain the module syllabus, reading lists, teaching resources, and Moodle content in line with university requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate guest lecturers, arranging sessions, agreeing on content, and sharing materials with students.
- Oversee module assessments and student‑feedback processes, including marking coordination, moderation, and provision of constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the wider programme team to review and enhance the module.
Profile
- Experience in teaching at higher‑education level, preferably within psychology or mental‑health programmes.
- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health and its social, cultural, and professional contexts.
- Ability to develop curriculum and learning resources that meet academic standards.
