Mortgage Administrator

About the role

The Mortgage Administrator will support the mortgage process within a reputable financial services organisation. The role is focused on accurate and efficient handling of administrative tasks throughout the loan pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a busy pre‑offer pipeline of mortgage applications.
• Work closely with the Underwriting team to progress applications to the correct outcome.
• Assess all documents against internal manuals, policies, procedures and criteria.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Answer internal and external queries with a focus on first‑time resolution.
• Meet key performance indicators and service level targets.
• Identify potential issues and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Customer service experience.
• Understanding of data protection, Money Laundering and treating customers fairly regulations.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
