Multi Skilled Operative – Repairs & Maintenance

About the role

Join the senior management team of Pyramid Plus, a joint venture between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, as a Multi Skilled Operative. You will deliver high‑quality repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing in Winchester, ensuring homes are safe, functional and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out day‑to‑day responsive repairs in occupied properties.
• Replace or repair skirting boards, architraves, internal door frames and doors.
• Install and adjust kitchen units, worktops and cupboard doors.
• Fix minor plumbing issues such as leaks, dripping taps and blocked sinks.
• Perform patch plastering, wall and ceiling make‑good.
• Complete wall and floor tiling repairs, including grouting and sealing.
• Paint and decorate to a professional finish after repairs.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours emergency repair rota as required.

Required profile

• Reliable and able to work independently across a range of trades.
• Strong attention to resident privacy and safety.
• Ability to adapt to varied daily tasks and solve problems on site.

Required skills

• Carpentry – skirting boards, architraves, door frames, internal doors.
• Plumbing – leak detection, tap repairs, unblock sinks.
• Plastering – patch repairs to walls and ceilings.
• Tiling – wall and floor tile replacement, grouting, sealing.
• Painting & decorating – finishing repairs to a high standard.
• Kitchen fitting – installation of units, worktops and cupboard doors.

What we offer
