Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer – £51k‑£53.5k, 12‑hr Shifts

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK manufacturing business in Clevedon. The role offers genuine engineering variety, a proactive reliability‑focused culture and a work‑life balance with Monday‑Friday shifts and no scheduled weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support on a wide range of production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding to minimise downtime and maximise plant availability.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
• Assist with machinery upgrades, installations and commissioning as the site expands.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and eliminate recurring faults.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• PLC fault‑finding experience is advantageous but not essential.
