NDT Level 2/3 Instructor & Examiner

About the role

Testia Ltd is seeking an experienced NDT Level 2 or 3 Instructor/Examiner to deliver high‑quality training at its BINDT‑approved school in Filton, Bristol. You will also perform non‑destructive testing inspections on‑site and at customer locations, supporting both education and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and deliver NDT courses for internal and external candidates.
• Invigilate, examine and mark examinations, ensuring BINDT standards are met.
• Manage training equipment, consumables and coordinate with procurement for stock replenishment.
• Conduct NDT inspections using multiple methods at Testia facilities and customer sites.
• Support training administration, including scoping, pricing, contract review and paperwork processing.
• Maintain compliance with BINDT requirements and assist with internal and external audits.
• Develop coursework and examination materials to diversify the training portfolio.
• Engage with students, training partners and potential customers, supporting sales and marketing activities.
• Travel nationally and internationally as required.

Required profile

• EN4179 Level 2 qualification in at least one NDT method (Level 3 desirable).
• Ability to obtain or hold a Visual Acuity performance certificate.
• Evidence of instructional technique training or a teaching certificate.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible, resilient and able to work independently or as part of a team.
