Network Educator – Neonatal Education (Part‑time)

About the role

The South East Neonatal Operational Delivery Network, in partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a part‑time Network Educator to support the Qualified in Specialty (QIS) Programme and other educational initiatives across the South East region. This 15‑hour per week fixed‑term position is designed to complement an existing clinical nursing role and will be home‑based with regular travel to neonatal units and partner institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of neonatal education programmes.
• Support practice learning environments and provide guidance to learners and educators.
• Collaborate with neonatal units, higher‑education institutions and key stakeholders to enhance workforce development.
• Facilitate regional education activities, stakeholder engagement and network events.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the Qualified in Specialty (QIS) Programme.

Required profile

• Qualified neonatal professional with experience in clinical practice.
• Passion for neonatal education and workforce development.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships.
• Willingness to travel across the South East region as needed.
