Night Reception Team Member (Night Porter)

About the role

We are looking for a Night Reception Team Member to join Staycity’s night crew, ensuring the property is ready for the next day and delivering a smooth guest experience during the overnight hours. You will work closely with Operations and Housekeeping teams, supporting the night shift and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Check and prepare housekeeping trolleys for the following day, ensuring they meet set standards.
• Assist Operations and Housekeeping Managers with linen control, consumable stock checks and ordering.
• Maintain excellent cleanliness and presentation across all public areas throughout the night.
• Support stock organisation, linen control and continuous improvement of night‑team and housekeeping processes.
• Learn and operate reception systems and operational procedures to broaden knowledge and support career progression.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality environment is helpful but not mandatory – full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to work night shifts.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Opera property management system (training provided if needed).
