Night Shift Supervisor

About the role

As a Night Shift Supervisor you will ensure the smooth operation of AO.com's warehouse during the night hours. Reporting to the Night Shift Manager, you will lead a team to meet efficiency targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The role combines hands‑on supervision with problem‑solving to support the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Complete incident reporting accurately and promptly.
• Supervise and delegate daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee quality management of all warehouse activities.
• Escalate stock, equipment and operational issues raised by the team.
• Monitor and report MHE equipment maintenance concerns.
• Plan and oversee daily team schedules, aligning tasks with operational targets.
• Manage the correct processing of inbound stock.

• Effective communicator across all levels of the organisation.
• Calm and focused under pressure, able to make quick decisions.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operational departments.

• Experience meeting tight deadlines and adapting to fluctuating workloads.
