On Trade Wholesale & Route to Market Sales Manager

About the role

This high‑visibility commercial position leads Amber Beverage UK’s on‑trade wholesale and route‑to‑market strategy across the United Kingdom. You will shape customer plans, promotional activity and channel priorities to accelerate growth for a multi‑category portfolio of premium and super‑premium drinks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the wholesale and route‑to‑market strategy for national, regional and independent customers.
• Manage and grow key partnerships with major wholesalers such as Matthew Clark, LWC Drinks and Venus Wine & Spirit Merchants.
• Influence decision‑makers to increase distribution, visibility and depletion across the portfolio.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with national account, field sales, marketing, finance and logistics teams.
• Deliver volume, net sales value (NSV), margin and depletion targets for a 50+ SKU portfolio.
• Oversee forecasting, stock management, pricing, promotional phasing, invoicing and customer investment tracking.

Required profile

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within the wholesale channel.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with commercial, sales, marketing, finance and field teams.
• Track record of growing distribution, visibility and rate of sale in the on‑trade sector.
• Experience managing large multi‑category portfolios and complex commercial operations.
