Operations Coordinator - Freight Forwarding

About the role

Transportify is a fast-growing London-based freight forwarding company helping businesses move goods across Europe and the globe. It is hiring an Operations Coordinator for its team in Stockley Park. This is a support-based operations role for someone with some office experience, strong communication skills and the ability to handle several tasks calmly; the team ensures shipments are booked, documents are prepared and customers are kept informed.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with booking shipments and arranging transport by road, air or sea
• Prepare and double-check documentation such as CMRs, commercial invoices and customs forms
• Liaise with clients, carriers and agents by email and phone
• Track shipments and flag issues to the team quickly
• Support customs clearance by liaising with brokers and gathering the right paperwork
• Update internal systems and keep shipment records tidy and up to date

Required profile

• Fluent English and at least one of Polish, Romanian or Lithuanian
• 1+ year of office or logistics admin experience preferred
• Detail-oriented and calm under pressure
• Willingness to learn about shipping, customs and logistics
• Friendly, reliable and professional, with strong organisation and time management

• Logistics software (training provided)
• Bonus: knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping documents or customs; multilingual or international business experience
