Operations Executive – Travel Operations Support

About the role

The Operations Executive will provide essential back‑office support to a specialist, award‑winning tailor‑made tour operator. Working closely with the travel sales team, you will ensure itineraries are accurate and clients receive seamless experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Review reservations and billing records to confirm alignment with planned journeys.
• Collaborate with sales advisors to resolve any discrepancies in confirmed bookings.
• Issue flight tickets and manage airline schedule changes.
• Handle travel‑related enquiries from customers and agents via email.
• Coordinate with ground suppliers and DMCs to verify all trip details.
• Prepare and distribute travel paperwork throughout the booking process.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product information and pricing in reservation systems.
• Support colleagues and clients by staying current with internal tools and platforms.
• Perform general office duties to aid overall team operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an Operations or Sales Support role within tailor‑made tour operations.
• Ability to work three full days per week, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, on‑site.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
