Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead internal fit‑out and construction projects across commercial and residential sectors. Based in Chelmsford, you will oversee multiple projects, manage budgets and procurement, and work closely with senior leadership to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of several internal fit‑out projects.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, procurement and commercial performance.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.
• Collaborate with Directors on business growth and operational strategy.
• Build strong client relationships and identify repeat‑business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager in internal fit‑out or interiors.
• Strong leadership of site teams, subcontractors and commercial performance.
• Experience managing project finances and operational delivery.
• Background in commercial and residential fit‑out projects.
• Ability to commute to Chelmsford.
