Opportunity Pursuit Lead – Public Safety

About the role

As an Opportunity Pursuit Lead at CGI you will drive high‑value growth for public safety services across the UK. You will own the full pursuit lifecycle, shaping and winning strategic opportunities that enhance digital capabilities for policing and public protection organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and close strategic public safety opportunities from identification through to contract award.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Apply public sector procurement knowledge to position CGI effectively within competitive bids.
• Qualify, strategise and manage the sales cycle across suspect, prospect, opportunity and closure stages.
• Collaborate with internal solution experts, senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to align client needs with CGI offerings.
• Develop insight‑driven proposals and negotiate final terms.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end pursuit cycles for public sector contracts.
• Strong track record of building trusted relationships with senior client leaders.
• Deep understanding of public sector procurement processes and commercial shaping.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance or ability to obtain it.
