About the role
Join Asda Opticians in Bournemouth as a full‑time Optometrist. You will deliver high‑quality eye care to our customers, supporting both routine and extended NHS services.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including contact lens and extended service assessments.
- Work alongside the Dispensing Optician Manager to train and coach colleagues.
- Maintain departmental standards and ensure compliance with NHS contracts.
- Provide patient advice and support for a wide range of eye conditions.
- Optionally supervise optometry students to aid their professional development.
Required profile
- GOC‑registered Optometrist with a commitment to patient‑centred care.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to store service levels and community relationships.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
