About the role
St Stephen's Care Home, run by Gold Care Homes, is a residential home for 51 people, including those with dementia or mental health needs, located near Worcester town centre. It is looking for a part-time housekeeper to keep the home clean and hygienic.
Key responsibilities
- Clean all allocated rooms, including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment
- Clean bathrooms and toilets, following guidelines for the control of germs and infestation
- Make sure rooms are odour-free
- Follow the COSHH health and safety statement
- Handle waste bags and dispose of them according to prescribed procedures
- Keep up to date with the care standards regulations that govern the job
- Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times
Required profile
- Experience in a similar role or a similar industry is preferred but not essential
- Part-time availability
