Parts Advisor – Automotive After‑sales Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join a high‑volume main dealership’s aftersales team in Houghton Le Spring. The role involves supporting the service department, managing parts inventory and delivering excellent customer service to both walk‑in and phone enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the Parts department.
• Process parts orders, bookings, invoicing and payments.
• Handle general aftersales enquiries and support service advisers.
• Provide accurate estimates and achieve sales targets through prospecting and account management.
• Manage parts deliveries, stock checks and coordinate with the workshop.
• Promote parts offers and contact customers about promotions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Motor Trade Parts Advisor or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle components.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Team‑player who can meet shared targets.
• Confident telephone communication and proactive enquiry handling.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Organised and detail‑oriented in a fast‑paced environment.
