Parts Advisor – Automotive Parts Sales

About the role

The Parts Advisor will join the NAPA Auto Parts UK & Ireland branch in Rochdale, supporting the daily operations of the store while focusing on growing the local customer base. You will act as the primary point of contact for garage owners, motor factors and automotive enthusiasts, helping them find the right parts quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders over the telephone and actively upsell to increase invoice value.
• Make outbound calls to raise customer awareness of offers, discounts and competitions.
• Build long‑term relationships with local customers and promote repeat business.
• Promote current offers, discounts and customer competitions.
• Limit credits and returns by ensuring the correct parts are ordered and dispatched the first time.

Required profile

• Punctual, organised and efficient, able to work to deadlines.
• Pro‑active and enthusiastic when speaking with customers.
• Demonstrates empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
