Part‑time Cover Supervisor – Northwich & Surrounding Areas

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Northwich and nearby towns. This part‑time, temporary position lets you gain classroom experience without the need for lesson planning or marking.
Key responsibilities
- Lead lessons when the regular teacher is absent.
- Deliver work that has already been prepared for you.
- Maintain pupil engagement and manage classroom behaviour.
- Complete a brief hand‑over at the end of each session.
Required profile
- Confident, reliable and able to work independently.
- Experience of working with young people (minimum 2 months in any relevant role).
- Degree or equivalent qualification preferred, but all applications considered.
- Willingness to obtain a fully enhanced DBS (assistance available).
Required skills
- Ability to follow prepared lesson plans accurately.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
