Part‑time Finance Consultant – Property

About the role

This part‑time Finance Consultant position supports a privately owned property investor and developer operating across commercial and residential assets. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a small finance team, drive structural improvements and help translate strategic ambitions into commercial reality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the restructuring of the group, reviewing each business unit and its financial framework.
• Partner with the CEO to shape and execute strategic direction.
• Redesign budgets, forecasts and commercial processes to improve accuracy and insight.
• Manage external service providers, including accountants and tax advisers, and evaluate tax structuring options.
• Collaborate closely with operations to ensure finance aligns with business needs.
• Mentor, train and develop the internal accounting team.

Required profile

• Qualified finance professional (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in small‑to‑mid‑size businesses.
• Background in property or real‑estate finance is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading business change and restructuring initiatives.
• Interest in a part‑time/fractional role of roughly three days per week.
