Part‑Time HR Specialist – 3 days/week in Richmond

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HR Specialist to join our team on a part‑time basis, working three days a week from our Richmond office. The role combines traditional people‑focused responsibilities with the opportunity to introduce AI‑driven efficiencies and modernise our HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle.
• Support recruitment activities and develop consistent hiring processes.
• Maintain HR policies, records and ensure compliance with UK employment law.
• Provide advice on employee‑relations matters as required.
• Identify and implement practical AI and automation tools to streamline administration.
• Develop simple performance‑management frameworks and assist managers with objective setting.
• Produce HR reports and insights to aid strategic decision‑making.
• Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and the employee experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a generalist HR, People Operations or Talent role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement.
• Interest in leveraging AI and technology to enhance HR functions.
