About the role
This part‑time position supports the Kinship Care Team in Stockport, providing professional supervision and assessment for kinship foster families. The role is temporary, with a minimum commitment of three months, and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to kinship foster carers.
- Conduct regular viability assessments on a rota basis.
- Ensure compliance with registration and safeguarding standards.
Required profile
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Degree in Social Work.
- Previous fostering experience, preferably within kinship care.
Required skills
- Knowledge of kinship fostering regulations.
- Ability to conduct viability assessments.
