Part‑time Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant

About the role

Our client, an award‑winning travel management company, is seeking a part‑time Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant to support its corporate travel team. The role is fully remote after a two‑week on‑site training and involves handling travel requests outside normal office hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage business travel bookings – flights, hotels, rail, car hire – and amend arrangements as required.
• Provide emergency assistance and repatriation support to business travellers.
• Coordinate with the daytime team to ensure seamless hand‑over and high‑quality service.
• Resolve complex travel issues quickly while maintaining a calm, professional approach.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, outstanding service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant.
• Proficiency with a Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Galileo or Amadeus.
• Excellent knowledge of worldwide geography and air‑fare structures.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to stay calm under pressure.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make confident decisions.
• Availability for a minimum two‑week on‑site training programme in the South of England.
